A New Chapter

Are you ready for a new chapter in your life? In order to move forward into the blessings God has for you, you have to be willing to let go of the old. The things that are behind you are not nearly as important as what is out in front of you. It’s time to get ready for the “new”!

You may have had some unfair things happen, things that you don’t understand. But let me tell you, you have come too far to stop now. Instead of allowing those things to hold you back, why don’t you let go and take a step of faith into the new? It’s time to get a new, bigger vision; it’s time to get a new, fresher outlook; it’s time to rise up with a new attitude! Instead of settling where you are, pick up and move forward. Have the attitude that says, “I may not understand it; it may not have been fair, but I am not getting stuck on this page. I know God has a new chapter for me — a chapter filled with blessings, favor and victory!”

A Prayer for Today

Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Today, I choose to trust You with my past, present and future. Give me wisdom to discern the seasons of my life and teach me to embrace the new things You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Happy Monday Friends!~ I believe that God is ready to present you with new opportunities. He wants to open new doors before you. It doesn’t matter what’s happening in the world around you, God’s Word remains true!

Remember, in an instant, God can bring the right people into your life, the right opportunities, and the right resources to take you to a whole new level. Today, choose to keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Begin to thank Him for the opportunities that are just ahead for you. Shut the door on fear and let God lead you by His peace through the door of opportunity He has prepared for you!

Get Over It

Just broke up with your boyfriend/girlfriend? However non-committed you had been, it still hurts. Thinking that the happy times are not going to return surely makes your stomach churn. But you have to face it. Here is a guide on what to do and what not to do.

1. Throw away old stuff: You cannot hold on to anything that triggers the memories of all the wonderful time you have had with your now ex-partner. It would do you a lot of good if you do not look at the pictures you had taken together and cry over it everyday. Put all the cards and gifts in a box and stash it away, out of your sight. Learn to let go off.

2. Meet new people – Socialise! The first good thing you can do to yourself is go out there and meet new people. It’ll be great to have new friends around you and getting to know newer people. Dinners, movies and general outings with a new bunch of people will take your mind off things and help you bounce back in life in a positive way.

3. Party – If you can…go out and have fun. There is no need to sit back home and cry over spilt milk. Not to make your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend jealous; but for your own happiness. Time to move on!

4. Take up new activities – If you do not have regular college or office to take your mind off things, take up some activities that will keep you occupied. It is important to stay active. Join some club, visit different places, exhibitions, take up some classes of your interest.

5.There is no need to overreact, please – It is ridiculous to spread rumours about how you have been dumped, or make your ex look bad. If you work at the same place, no need to leave your job. Just try and be friends or not get in each other’s way!

God Is Bigger

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Have you ever had anything unfair happen to you? We certainly have and we think that everyone has experienced disappointments, setbacks, heartache, or hurts at one time or another. Unfortunately, many people continue to live negative, bitter, resentful lives because they are still holding on to the pain of yesterday.

The good news is we serve a really big God. He is bigger than your past, bigger than your disappointments, bigger than your problems. No matter what kind of mistakes you have made, God can turn them all around and use them for good. He can right all the wrong things that have happened to you and pay you back in abundance for all the hurt you’ve experienced.

It doesn’t matter what you have been through in the past. Your future can start today. Let hope fill your heart and receive God’s mercy. Release all of your anger, guilt, and condemnation. Forgive those who have wronged you, stop carrying around the baggage of yesterday and make a fresh start today. When you do, God will give you a new beginning. Begin each day declaring, “with God all things are possible,” “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and “everything I put my hand to today will prosper.” These are not idle words or motivational sayings; it’s the Word of God, His promises for your life.

A Prayer for Today

God, with You all things are possible. I am ready to forget the past and start believing Your promises for my future. I am going to release any bitterness, hurt or resentment to You. I am going to let go of the past and start fresh today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
