Power In The Name Of Jesus

l_ba1054e204fdf87bca59024fcbe6d34d

There is something powerful about that name—Jesus. Whenever you are going through a difficult time, call on Jesus. In the midst of your storm, when the red sea is in front of you and pharaoh’s army is behind you, call on Jesus. If you do not feel well in your body and need a miracle, cry out Jesus. When you are going through challenges and you do not feel like praying, call on Jesus. When you call on Jesus, your circumstance changes, when you cry out Jesus, demons tremble. When you cry out Jesus, the pain in your body goes away. When you cry out Jesus, you get delivered and set free from infirmities and deformities. If you can have only one word in your vocabulary, that word should be Jesus. “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil. 2:10-11).

Do you need a miracle? Are you going through something and need extra help from God? Do you feel lost, confused, and depressed? I challenge you to call on Jesus. When you call on Jesus, your situation and circumstance will change. Satan hates it when you call on the name of Jesus. When you say Jesus, you are saying, “Greater is He [Jesus] that’s in me than he that’s in the world” (1 John 4:4). When you say Jesus you saying, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13, emphasis added). When you say Jesus you are saying, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Is. 54:17, emphasis added). When you say Jesus, you are saying that you might be “hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed” (2 Cor. 4:8,9).

When you know the God that you serve, you have no reason to be afraid of anything or anyone. He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End. He always was, He always is, and He always will be unmoved, unchanged, undefeated, and never undone. In fact, He is so great that the world cannot understand him, the armies cannot defeat Him, the schools cannot explain Him, Herod could not kill Him, the leaders cannot ignore Him, and Donahue cannot explain Him.When you fall, He lifts you up! When you fail, He forgives; when you are weak, He is strong. His strength perfects our weakness. When you are afraid, He is your encourager. When you are confused, He counsels you. When you stumble and fall (we fall down but we get up), He keeps you steady. When you are heartbroken, he mends your broken heart. When you are hurt, He is your healer. When you did not have anything to eat, He fed you. When your world was crashing down on you, He was besides you. When you faced problems and went through pain, He comforted you.

A Confident Woman

8 Traits of a Confident Woman

1. She’s had enough. When you’ve had enough of living for someone else, pleasing others, craving others’ approval or of those who bind your life with theirs; when you’ve had enough of the fear of confronting someone or are ready to stand up for yourself, you’re walking in your God-given confidence. When you are ready to step out of these types of situations and follow God fully, you are a confident woman.

2. She doesn’t concentrate on her weaknesses but instead she develops and maximizes her strengths. She discovers her strengths and asks God to help her

3. She believes in her values. She can confidently say about herself the same things that God says about her. She sees herself as God sees her no matter what anyone has ever said to her or about her. She is grounded in her identity in Christ.

4. She allows God to work through her flaws. We all have flaws. Not one of us is perfect. She loves herself in a balanced and healthy way and never despises or rejects herself.

5. She takes care of herself. This means to take care of yourself first and foremost before taking care of others. This is not selfish. What does the airline hostess say about the oxygen mask? “In the event of an emergency, put your oxygen mask on first then assist someone else.”

6. She knows her strengths. Take inventory of yourself and think about what you are good at, perhaps something you have not noticed. Make a list of what you are good at. Whatever you are good at is the area God has gifted you. This is what you must serve to the world.

7. She gets out of the boat and doesn’t sink. A confident woman gets out of her past and all that’s associated with it. She doesn’t murmur and complain about missing out on life because of her past. She doesn’t hide her past and she knows she will never be free if she keeps running away from her past. She is no longer stuck in her past and her past is no longer stuck in her.

8. She never stops trying. A confident woman recovers from setbacks. She is in charge of her destiny and keeps trying different things until she discovers what she is here on this earth to do. She will experience some set-backs, some disappointments but she never stops trying until she discovers her place. This place will feel right to her.

And the greatest thing about confidence is when it is rooted in God, we can act in boldness and assurance in Him. So we can say confidence is all about being positive concerning what you can do and not worrying over what you cannot do. A confident woman is opened to learning because she knows her confidence allows her to walk through life’s doorways eager to discover what waits on the other side. She knows that every new unknown is a chance to learn more about herself so she can unleash her abilities. She engages in positive self-talk.

Your DEAD Promises shall LIVE!

If your promise has to die, its only because God has a plan to MULTIPLY! When your Promise Land Promises DRY UP. God will RESURRECT the dead promise and cause a RIVER OF LIVING WATERS to spring up in your Life again. Canaan had to have a FAMINE before God could give to her its greatest FEAST. Think it not STRANGE! The BROOK may dry up. But Oh with joy, you will draw waters again from the WELLS of Gods plan of Salvation in drought or famine. Imagine that, the Land of promised milk and honey had lost its flow. Oh but God remembered His words to Abraham and reversed the season and caused the land to yield again. Isaac, the Promised Son, sowed in the land even at a time when he stood to lose everything he had. Because of his obedience instead of losing he gained so much more! Shout Increase! He grew rich and waxed great and wealthy in the land during famine so much so he became the to envy of all his enemies.(Gen 26:1-33). We don’t always understand Gods plan but He promised to prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Go THROUGH! You may have to cry sometimes but just like Isaac name means laughter, God will get the last laugh! Glory to God who never subtracts without a plan to INCREASE. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit(John 12:24). If it has to die, EXPECT and BELIEVE its only because God has a plan to MULTIPLY! Get ready to RECEIVE the 100fold and the BLESSING of GOD!

The Shunammite woman was prophesied unto by the Prophet Elisha and given a son according to the season and appointed time spoken by Elijah’s servant, the Prophet Elisha. This was a deep desire of her heart and a long awaited seed. These things were decreed in a season of barrenness and at a time when her husband was old. God does not discern the seasons and times as we do He changes them and brings forth His PURPOSE! She received the promise and then He died. What disappointment this could have been. How could this have shattered her faith not only in God but the Prophet of God whose words had came to pass? She hoped in God. She kept her faith. She had the kind of hope that does not disappoint(Rom 5:5). In fact, she clung to the promise by refusing to leave the man of Gods presence and she held on to his feet even after he sent his word with his servant to lay the staff on the boy and heal him. She didnt believe one word of the Prophet would fail. But she refused to let Him go. She did not put her trust in man but in the faith that she had. No doubt Roman 10:17 was in effect. Faith coms by hearing and hearing by the word. She heard already of how Elijah had raised the widow’s son of Zarephath to life; and she believed by faith his servant Prophet Elisha had also received this gift from God and would do the same for her. Though the promise died temporarily, the man of God resurrected it back to Life again. God used him to bring RESTORATION to her life. How many of us could say, ” IT IS WELL”, KNOWING WE HOLD A DEAD PROMISE? How many of us will stay at the feet of Jesus while our promises seemingly go down the drain? She bears this TESTIMONY, “Oh WOMAN of GREAT FAITH!” She being FULLY PERSUADED that He that has begun a good work shall complete it. Faith that says, ” God does not altar His word.” If He spoke it and it dies, it will prosper still even in the very thing that His word was sent to do. When you see plan A go LEFT. EXPECT Gods plan B to restore all things to its RIGHTFUL place. Look for Gods WORD. Its ETERNAL and cannot die. His Word wills to manifest All that it originally purposed to do and then some. Shout INCREASE. There is Life after death! Glory to God! Man shall not LIVE by bread alone but by EVERY WORD that comes out of the MOUTH of GOD(Mathew 4:4). Multiplication is on the way! I Expect & I shall RECEIVE no less than the 100fold and the Blessings! Yea and AMEN for all the Promises. Shout INCREASE! When you are fed manna that you do not know neither understand, against all hope, hope thou in God. TRUST GOD. He will REVEAL a RESURRECTION that will sustain you in your wilderness of doubt and the dead will live. Multiplication is on the way!

Lastly and most assuredly, Gods one and only first born Son Jesus, was BORN. and HE lived but He was crucified and He died, because He was given as the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE for the sins of the world(1John 2:2, Gal 1:4, 2 Cor 5:19, Rev 1:5). The WORD, the Letter and Spirit inspired of God is FINAL. What a let down this could have been for us otherwise. To the natural eye again, The plan of God seemingly failed. Not so, though the promise may die, YET shall it LIVE!! Somebody SHOUT GLORY!!!!! When we face a dead promise, a red sea, a brook drying up, a famine, a drought, or a wilderness experience, This is the time to TRUST GOD even the more. We must hold on to our faith. Cling unto the promises and unto He that promised. Being Fully persuaded in the TRUTH of Gods word. Remembering ALWAYS. It is impossible for God to lie. He swears against Himself. When God makes promise, cuts covenants, and swears an oath by His name, God will DELIVER! and His word will not be revoked. Hold on to the oath. God changes not. Hebrew 6-13- For when God made a promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself. The enemy must have been rejoicing and assuming that all wast lost. It looked like HEAVEN had gambled its FIRST AND ONLY SON and lost. But soon all hell would see the POWER of GODS PROMISE MANIFEST after death! God had a greater PLAN OF SALVATION. The promise may die but God Has a Plan bigger than the problems we see. Your promise shall not taste a death that God himself cannot Resurrect! That’s worth a shout of victory praise right there! 1 Corinthians 15:55 – Oh death WHERE IS THY STING. OH GRAVE WHERE IS THY VICTORY!

The PROMISE will ALWAYS Out-LIVE the Temporary PROBLEMS you face. The table is spread. The meal has been arranged. Now Prepare to eat PERMANENTLY! God is always able to RESTORE what HE has taken away.God has a greater plan(Jeremiah 29:11). A good plan for our life. He alone brings DIVINE LIFE after Death. He will always make good on His promises because FAITHFUL is HE that promised(Heb 10:23) . We should hold fast to this HOPE even when we see what looks lie a dead promise. He don’t just replace what you had but HE RESTORES and makes all things NEW. He can Bring back, reestablish, return, recover, refresh, reinstate, revive and resurrect it again. Good God almighty. God is not without a plan B and He always has in mind MORE! Shout ABUNDANCE! Look for God to turn you from famine unto your feast! From death to life and from seemingly defeat to your greatest victory! Expect it!

Saints of God Consider Isaac the Son of promise. He was in the Promised Land. The Land that God had promised to Abraham’s descendants. His life was predestined for blessing but he was experiencing what seemed like a curse. It was just a temporary hardship. It looked like God had forgot about his Oath or simply lied if we look with the natural eye. But we know God is not a man that He should lie(Numbers 23:19). He will never leave you, forsake you, or forget you. Therefore, Think it NOT STRANGE. This SETBACK is ONLY a SETUP. In times like these, the MEAN-TIMES, understand that God is still in control. His plan is to do you good and not harm you. He wounds but He heals. He will ultimately do you GOOD. His ways are not our ways. They are much higher than ours. People of God, HEAR and understand, you can be in the CENTER of Gods will, In the very place of promise, and still face death and seemingly defeat. But there is no failure in GOD! He is just working His own counsel. He wroughts His own plan as it pleases HIM. Consider the Shunammite woman, who though her Promised son was dead, yet did he live. And lastly though there many clouds of witnesses, Consider Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your Faith. Hebrew 12:2- We must focus on Jesus, the source and goal of our faith. He saw the joy ahead of him, so he endured death on the cross and ignored the disgrace it brought him. Then he received the highest position in heaven, the one next to the throne of God. Tell somebody, I got NEXT!

If God takes you through the valley of shadows of death, trust He has a plan to bring you to the Tree of LIFE. Multiplication follows every plan of God for He is not a God of decrease but He is a God of INCREASE! I dare you to decree, My dead promise shall LIVE!

God Is Bigger

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Have you ever had anything unfair happen to you? We certainly have and we think that everyone has experienced disappointments, setbacks, heartache, or hurts at one time or another. Unfortunately, many people continue to live negative, bitter, resentful lives because they are still holding on to the pain of yesterday.

The good news is we serve a really big God. He is bigger than your past, bigger than your disappointments, bigger than your problems. No matter what kind of mistakes you have made, God can turn them all around and use them for good. He can right all the wrong things that have happened to you and pay you back in abundance for all the hurt you’ve experienced.

It doesn’t matter what you have been through in the past. Your future can start today. Let hope fill your heart and receive God’s mercy. Release all of your anger, guilt, and condemnation. Forgive those who have wronged you, stop carrying around the baggage of yesterday and make a fresh start today. When you do, God will give you a new beginning. Begin each day declaring, “with God all things are possible,” “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and “everything I put my hand to today will prosper.” These are not idle words or motivational sayings; it’s the Word of God, His promises for your life.

A Prayer for Today

God, with You all things are possible. I am ready to forget the past and start believing Your promises for my future. I am going to release any bitterness, hurt or resentment to You. I am going to let go of the past and start fresh today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Happy Thanksgiving

My Life Expressions

As we approach another year of Thanksgiving, I sit here now reflecting on the time that God has allowed me to experience thus far in the earth. I can truly say, being born naughty by nature, I have did the good, the bad, the low, the high, the ugly, the wicked and the abominable over the course of my life. But through it all, God has been PRESENT to HEAL me, FAITHFUL to FORGIVE me, and MERCIFUL in that He has never FORSOOK me. God has been the ULTIMATE FATHER of FAITHFULLNESS in my life. I have been in no way PERFECT but in every way saved by His grace and I am being PERFECTED by His Spirit!. What I am most thankful for in this season OF MY LIFE is Gods Agape LOVE and COMPASSION that has never FAILED me. Great is His faithfulness in my life. If it had not been for those twins called Grace and Mercy, I COULD ONLY IMAGINE where life would leave me. But here I am standing and still standing in awe of God who has RESTORED the years and has CROWNED my years with His goodness, fatness, and Righteouness. My days are known of Him. My name Recorded in the Book of Life. It is His will and He is not willing that none should perish. This is my Thanksgiving wish for you(2 Peter 3:9).

Im grateful to have been born in a family that BOTH knew and served the Lord. My RELATIONSHIP with God sprung from the very ROOT of that early childhood God that I was introduced to. I have always been around God. As I learned who He is, I came to know Him for myself at an early age. I learned the GLORY of not only being around God but the JOY of being In Him, and having CHRIST, THE HOPE OF GLORY, in me. Life has a way of making you Reflect and Respect LIFE. There are many things in life that I truly REGRET that I ever willingly partook in. Before my RECREATION, I was born in sin and shapen in iniquity. Sin has a way of staining your memories and scaring your dreams. Many regrets and many refllections of hope deferred. But through it all, I have learned life is what you make it with the resources that God has given unto you and your past is behind you as we reach FORWARD to the things before us in God. My future got brighter because the GREAT LIGHT has always been at my feet as a LAMP unto my paths. Being BORN AGAIN is the greatest RESTORATION gift one can ever receive. It Places us right back in the GARDEN OF EDEN when our SPIRIT walked with God in the cool of the day. No one should LIVE or DIE without this NEW BIRTH! My Thanksgiving wish is for your DESTINY to be SEALED by the HOLY GHOST. I wish that you become BORN AGAIN so you can see and experience the KINGDOM of GOD(John 3:1-21). Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. This is my Thanksgiving wish that we all Be ye reconciled!

To all my sisters and brothers near and far, my friends in ministry and marketplace, and unto all I have ever known, Many of you have been here for just a season and some for my lifetime. No matter how long you stayed and no matter how short, I am grateful that you were here at all. My love, hope, and my prayers for you is that God will continue to lead your life and allow you to do great things in the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness. Do the work of an evangelist. Whatever it pleases God to allow you to do in life, do it wholeheartedly unto the Lord. Your years of faithfulness, unselfish loyalty, and unswerving service will be rewarded. God will NEVER forget your labor of love towards the saints. Men will and has forgotten and forsaken. But God will never Forget or forsake you. Your payday is RESERVED. My Thanksgiving wish for you is this. Even as God blessed Abraham, made him a GREAT nation and His name Great, and caused him to be a blessing unto all others. This is my prayer for you that He would do the same for you. He will bless those who bless you, and those who dishonor you He will curse(Genesis 12:1-3).

As I reflect over this year and years that past. All I can say is God has been faithful. Our natural life is so precious in itself. It is the most miraculous gift we could ever receive. How MUCH MORE Precious is Life in God. It is SUPERNATURALLY DIVINE. Therefore, I speak and decree Divinty into all your days. I pray this prayer for you, That each of you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. For this is the will of God concerning you. May His grace and great light continue to shine upon your countenance and give you favor. You are Gods best gifts in life. I love you all. Stay precious in the sight of God and men. Let your light shine so others may see your good works, give glory to God, and desire to know the LIGHT of the WORLD(Matthew 5:16). This is my Thanksgiving wish!

Last year this time I was going through a divorce and feeling some sort of way. Depressed, angry, hurt and all the emotions that accompany. But GOD….. I am thankful not only for this day but all my past days and the days that I have yet to see.

Happy Thanksgiving to you my friends!~

Patiently Waiting

In our culture today, people are used to getting things right away. We’ve been programmed for immediacy. People don’t like to wait. But the scripture says, “It’s through faith and patience that we inherit God’s promises.” Sometimes, it’s easy for people to have faith. We declare, “God, I believe I’m going to accomplish my dreams. God, I believe I’m going to overcome this obstacle.” But, it gets harder when we have to walk in patience. When you pray, can you say, “God, I not only believe for big things, but I trust Your timing. God, I’m not going to get discouraged if it doesn’t happen immediately. I’m not going to give up because it’s taken a week, a month or five years. I know the set time is already in my future, so I’m going to wait with faith and patience because I know that it’s on the way.”

Remember, through faith and patience we inherit His promises. Trust His Word, trust His timing and trust that your answer is on its way!

Open Doors

“And at the same time pray for us also, that God may open a door to us…” (Colossians 4:3, AMP)

In this life, we are blessed with so many opportunities and privileges. In this day and age, we have tools and resources to figure almost anything out. It’s easy to just depend on our own natural ability to make things happen. But God wants to be intimately involved in our lives. He wants us to come to Him, depend on Him, and allow Him to show Himself strong on our behalf. He wants to open those doors for you, and He wants you to know that He is the one working behind the scenes on your behalf.

Today, if you are looking for an open door, turn to God. Pray and ask Him to direct your every step. Keep asking, keep knocking, keep believing because God will open those doors before you. He will lead you and guide you into the abundant life He has in store for you!
