Matthew 6:25-34
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Happy Monday luvs!!!! Today is a new day. Brand new week. An opportunity for a fresh start. Today’s ready comes from Matthew 6:25-34 and its main focus is God’s plan to provide for our needs.

God knows your every need, even before you do. As your loving Father, He wants to meet those needs in His way and in His time. And believe me, He will if you see Him with all your heart. He tells us not to be anxious about our needs because we should have enough trust and faith in Him to know that He will meet the need. Not only that, He made a promise in His word to provide for our needs.

So what should we be doing instead of worrying? Well, we should be worshiping Him for who He is, praising Him for what He has already done and simply being about our Father’s business. We should pray for peace in our hearts. Philippians 4:8 states we should be thinking on things that are hones, just, pure, lovely and of good report.

We have to recognize that by ourselves we have little power to change the future, so we must trust God to take care of us. Those who learn to trust God have no need to worry.

I have often heard people say that stress can kill you. Sometimes we can be worried about the smallest things that really have no bearing on us or never even materialize. Worrying about day to day things can bring you to a level where you forget what truly is important. Simply let it Go. Stand on God’s word and His promises and be content with the present, knowing that God will take care of what belongs to Him.

I challenge you today at any point you begin to dwell on a problem or need you feel you may have, seek out someone else who has a need a bless them. It will help you to realize that what you are going through is really mi-nute compared to then person you are helping and the blessings you put out are sure to come back.

Have a Great day luvs!!~
