Wisdom 101

Signal lights are there for a purpose. They help you observe warnings. Yellow means BE CAREFUL. GREEN means you may go. But RED is the most important, it says STOP. Be sure to observe the signals in your relationship to avoid getting all jammed up. Some people patterns will never change. Know when a U-TURN or DETOUR is the best route to take. Some times you have to chart your course on a whole different road. Be okay with that! Sharp turns are necessary…

Happy Birthday To Me!!!~

Psalm 139:13
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” (NIV)

Thankful that the Lord has allowed me to see another year. Yes, today is my birthday. Although this is the day that was set aside for my family and friends to acknowledge another year of life for me, I choose to celebrate each and every day.

Grateful that after all I have been through yet God still seems to have me in His divine plan of things. So on this day that is what I celebrate. Another year to be able to do what God has called me to do. Which is encourage, uplift and inspire those who can not for themselves.

Contentment

Matthew 6:25-34
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Happy Monday luvs!!!! Today is a new day. Brand new week. An opportunity for a fresh start. Today’s ready comes from Matthew 6:25-34 and its main focus is God’s plan to provide for our needs.

God knows your every need, even before you do. As your loving Father, He wants to meet those needs in His way and in His time. And believe me, He will if you see Him with all your heart. He tells us not to be anxious about our needs because we should have enough trust and faith in Him to know that He will meet the need. Not only that, He made a promise in His word to provide for our needs.

So what should we be doing instead of worrying? Well, we should be worshiping Him for who He is, praising Him for what He has already done and simply being about our Father’s business. We should pray for peace in our hearts. Philippians 4:8 states we should be thinking on things that are hones, just, pure, lovely and of good report.

We have to recognize that by ourselves we have little power to change the future, so we must trust God to take care of us. Those who learn to trust God have no need to worry.

I have often heard people say that stress can kill you. Sometimes we can be worried about the smallest things that really have no bearing on us or never even materialize. Worrying about day to day things can bring you to a level where you forget what truly is important. Simply let it Go. Stand on God’s word and His promises and be content with the present, knowing that God will take care of what belongs to Him.

I challenge you today at any point you begin to dwell on a problem or need you feel you may have, seek out someone else who has a need a bless them. It will help you to realize that what you are going through is really mi-nute compared to then person you are helping and the blessings you put out are sure to come back.

Have a Great day luvs!!~

I Apologize!~

James 5:16 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

HAPPY SATURDAY MY LUVS!!!!! I first would like to start off by saying that I am so sorry. What am I apologizing for you may ask? Well God dealt with me so much last night. I stayed up until after 3am this morning; crying, praying and asking God to direct me.

I apologize because I realize the assignment on my life. The assignment on my life is so much bigger then my personal feelings at the moment. Over the last two months I have allowed my health challenges & my professional life challenges steal the vigor and the fire that was once burning inside.

I went from posting every day messages to you guys to nothing to maybe once a week. I apologize. I honestly felt at times that I really was not going to make it. I have a great support system around me and instead of using them to vent, share my feelings and look for support from them I shut everyone out. I lost focus and what my mission on earth truly is. I apologize.

Although I have visitors from all over the world who visit my blog and that I may never know, I count you guys as my extended family. Know that I am forever grateful to and for you. This epiphany comes on the weekend of the celebration of another year of life for myself. I realize that I have been tremendously blessed so for and God has so much more in store for me. There is still work yet to be done.

I have too often fallen in the trap of comparing myself to others and where I think I should be in life when in reality I am right where God would have me to be. I realize that so many look up to me whether they choose to express that to me or not. There is always someone watching. For the bible states that we are living epistles. I could be holding someone’s salvation in the palm of my hands. I apologize.

So from this day forth, Saturday, October 27, 2012, I recommit myself to the work. I am not ashamed to say that I fell off, I am not ashamed to apologize and ask for forgiveness. My salvation and pleasing God is what matters to me the most. I can not promise that I will post every single day due to other things I am committed to but I can promise that when I do post or put something out it will be from the hearth and impactful.

I sincerely ask for you forgiveness and what you to know how much I appreciate your past and continued support. I am working on another book but have no plans on releasing it until next year. Continue to spread the word about Jody K Young. It may not be a huge house hold name right now, but what matters most is who I am impacting and the change that is taking place with all those who are connected to myself & Faith In Action Int Ministries.

I love you guys with the love of Jesus!!~

Transfer of Wealth

But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous (Prov 13:22).

In the last days there will be a transfer of wealth into the hands of the righteous for the purpose of funding a great harvest of souls and for believers to have greater influence on society in the name of Christ. This will happen in at least four ways.

1. Supernatural Transfer – Like the Israelites leaving Egypt, Christians and non-profit organizations will receive major gifts from individuals or foundations to carryout their Christian mission. In 2004, the Salvation Army received one of the largest gifts ever for Christian ministry via the founder’s wife of McDonald’s, Joan Kroc, in the amount of 1.5 billion dollars.

2. Power to Make Wealth – God is going to give witty inventions to believers throughout the world that will generate wealth. This has already begun. “But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today” (Deut 8:18).

3. Social Entrepreneurship – Just as Joseph was entrusted with the resources of Egypt to solve a societal problem resulting from a famine in the land, God is going to transfer money to believers who are solving societal problems. Governments will fund private enterprises because government is not been able to do it.

4. Wealthy Individual “Conversions” ? Finally, many non-believers who are wealthy will become Christians in these last days and will begin to use their wealth for Kingdom purposes.

The transfer of wealth is designed to accelerate God’s activity on the earth, not to simply make believers wealthy. Pray that God uses your work life call to accelerate His Kingdom on earth. And pray that God raises up good stewards of wealth

Life

Everyday life causes you to grow in mind, body and spirit as you become more knowledgeable and wise with each life experience. Every change can add to your inner strength if you let it!

As I am now starting to feel the changes life can bring I am tasked with having patience and more faith. I spend so much of my time encouraging and guiding others but many times find it very hard to apply those same lessons to my own life. That is the challenging part.

As the old saying goes, “someone always has it worst then you”. That statement is so true. At the end of each day I reflect on what I have heard, seen and felt & in retrospect in compares nothing to what someone else is dealing with. Its just life.

Today, I welcome changes as opportunities to grow. Come what may, I know I have the strength to tackle them with optimism and the wisdom to seek their advantages.

Remember to always keep a positive attitude to life’s challenges and know that when one thing won’t work you must then find another solution to the issue or problem at hand.
